Salim Tamari

Der Soziologe Salim Tamari greift bei seiner Forschung auf Archivmaterialien und persönliche Aufzeichnungen zurück und hat zahlreiche Studien über die Dokumentation und Analyse palästinensischer Gesellschaftsstrukturen entwickelt. Zu seinen Büchern zählen The Great War and the Remaking of Palestine (2017), Year of the Locust – A Soldier's Diary and the Erasure of Palestine's Ottoman Past (2011) und Mountain against the Sea – Essays on Palestinian Society and Culture (2008). Salim Tamari ist Redakteur bei The Jerusalem Quarterly. Er ist gegenwärtig Senior Research Associate am Institute for Palestine Studies in Ramallah und Gastprofessor an der Columbia University, New York.
