The Migration of Images: radio transatlantico
Young Berliners with roots in Latin America will go on a search for Latin American images in Berlin. The point of departure for their research expeditions is the exhibition The Potosi Principle at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. Participants will collaborate with artists to develop forms for presenting the results of their search.

HAUSRadio: expanding media literacy
The HAUSRadio invites you to actively participate in transmediale’s radio laboratories for the project ON RAGE and "WASSERRadio during the Summer Festival WASSERMUSIK 2010. Participants will learn not only how radio programs are produced, but also express their views about the HKW’s programs. The Haus produces its own live radio broadcasts and podcasts, and is supported by the Medienanstalt Berlin Brandenburg. Chor der Kulturen der Welt: Make your own Music
Under the direction of Barbara Morgenstern and Billy Neumann the Chor der Kulturen der Welt is developing its own musical works which will be performed during programs such as WASSERMUSIK and WORLDTRONICS and at other venues. Jugendtheaterbüro Moabit: Know-How-Transfer
Jugendtheaterbüro Moabit trains young people from the neighborhood Beußel to organize a separate International Youth Theater Festival by 2011. The program includes internships at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt and expert workshops in Moabit.
Guided Tours: Insights and visits
Artists, researchers and social activists give personal insights into the exhibitions. The tours take place on Sundays at 15 h. Once a month, in cooperation with the Nationalgalerie im Hamburger Bahnhof, the “visits" will include a tour of the parcours located between the two houses near the main train station.
