The Forecast Festival presents new approaches in the fields of architecture, design, photography, composition, curating and scientific fiction over the course of its two-day program. Whether the format is interactive installation, concert, video screening or exhibition — visitors will experience the output of new thinking across a spectrum of disciplines.

The results are now being made public in the form of protoypes at the Forecast Festival. In multimedia performances and installations incorporating sound, light and / or objects, the six talents make their visions tangible. And in open conversations, they shed light on their working processes and the form of collaboration developed within each tandem.

At the Forecast Forum at the HKW in August 2015, six international mentors each selected from a pool of 30 shortlisted concepts one project to accompany toward its realization. The Forecast Festival will now present those projects to the public as prototypes. In multimedia performances and installations involving sound, light and/or objects, audiences will be able to physically experience the visions of these six talents. In addition, the mentors and mentees will offer insight into the working processes behind their projects and the specific forms of collaboration developed within each tandem.
