Podium discussion and concert

Scene of Crime Immigration Society

Mon, Jun 19, 2017
6 pm
Admission: 6€/4€

Germany is an immigration society. The 800,000 newcomers who’ve arrived since 2015 have reminded us of this reality. 15,000 civil society initiatives have been created; immigrant organizations are more active than ever before, refugees are asking to take part. At the conference, Face it!, initiatives will work with institutions and media for greater networking and will discuss how a realistic image of the immigration society can arise beyond populist debates.

The conference will close at HKW with a discussion on how public television can be used to present a realistic image of immigration society beyond clichés and stereotypes.
