Cobra Mansa

Cobra Mansa (civil name Cinézio Feliciano Peçanha) is a Capoeira Angola master (Group Mukânda) and director and founder of the agroecological community Kilombo Tenondé. As a researcher on African Studies, he is a leading expert on Capoeira, the musical bow, the Black Movement, African combat games, Agroecology, and Permaculture. He believes in the participation of different segments of society in scientific and technological transformation processes. Therefore, sociopolitical and cultural experience, together with scientific theories, can help to create a new educational paradigm. Peçanha lives and works in Kilombo Tenondé in Valença, Bahia, Brazil.
