Water and Law
From the brief moment of the history of humanity and the much longer span of global history: a conversation on juridical thinking, geological time frames and the right moment to act, using the example of drinking water and sea levels. With the legal philosophers Joyeeta Gupta and Davor Vidas.
Joyeeta Gupta is professor or environment and development in the global south at the Social Science Research Institute at the University of Amsterdam and a member of the UNESCO Institute for Water Education in Delft and Amsterdam’s Global Change Institute. Davor Vidas is director of the Law of the Sea and Marine Affairs Program at Oslo’s Fridtjof Nansen Institute.
