Ryan Griffis

Ryan Griffis is an artist and faculty member at the School of Art and Design at the University of Illinois. Under the name Temporary Travel Office, he has created work and publications that approach tourism as an opportunity for critical public encounters. His recent work in the form of curatorial projects, documentary video and creative writing has focused on regional political ecologies in the U.S. Midwest. He is a member of Deep Time Chicago and the coordinator for Art In These Times.
