Martin Kretschmer

Martin Kretschmer is Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Glasgow, and the director of the interdisciplinary research hub CREATe, the UK Copyright and Creative Economy Centre. Between 2015 and 2016, Kretschmer served as president of the European Policy for Intellectual Property (EPIP) association. He is general editor of three major digital resources:, an open platform for empirical research;, the most frequented user-portal on copyright in the UK; and (with Lionel Bently), the digital archive of primary sources on copyright from 1450 to 1900.
