Frances Stonor Saunders

Frances Stonor Saunders is an historian, critic, broadcaster and former arts editor of the New Statesman. Her book Who Paid the Piper? CIA and the Cultural Cold War (1999) won the Royal Historical Society’s Gladstone Prize and has been translated into 17 languages. Stonor Saunders has written several books and worked for a number of publications including the Guardian, the London Review of Books and the LA Times. She is a frequent presenter for BBC Radio.
