Andrea Thilo

Andrea Thilo is a freelance journalist and documentary producer who moderates conferences, panel discussions and open space formats. She studied social and business communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. In 1992 and 1993 she trained at Norddeutscher Rundfunk and worked as an on-air reporter and editor for NDR and ARD, as a presenter for liebe sünde, Pro 7, and as a freelance on-air reporter for the BBC1 magazine The E-Files. She co-founded the film production company Boomtown Media in Berlin with which she received the 2005 German Film Award for Rhythm is it! Since 2011 Andrea Thilo has been self-employed in moderation, conference conception and training, with focuses on culture and education, digital transformation, civil society, and sustainability.
