Iris Dressler

Iris Dressler is, along with Hans D. Christ, the co-director of Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart and teaches as an associate lecturer at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart. One of Dressler’s and Christ’s main focuses is to explore collaborative, transnational and transdisciplinary forms of curating. They have presented solo exhibitions of artists such as Stan Douglas (in collaboration with Staatsgalerie Stuttgart) and Anna Opperman. They further realized collaborative exhibition projects such as On Difference (2005, 2006) and Subversive Practices (2009).Currently, they are working on a project on the German Bauhaus reception in 1968.
