The fascination of the mechanical-optical-chemical Capture All has long been eclipsed by that of imaging modalities.

"I am a mechanical eye. I, a machine, I am showing you a world, the likes of which only I can see." (D. Vertov about the camera, 1923) The fascination of the mechanical-optical-chemical Capture All has long been eclipsed by that of imaging modalities.
