Susanne Stumpenhusen is the district manager of the service employees’ union ver.di for Berlin-Brandenburg. From 1998, the qualified sociologist was the chairwoman of ÖTV Berlin, union for public services, shipping, and transportation, and in this capacity was instrumental in the founding of ver.di. In addition to her anti-racism work, she is a dedicated campaigner for women’s equality.
