Miriam Saage-Maaß holds a PhD in law and is the coordinator of the Business and Human Rights Program at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR). She has worked on cases against companies like Lidl, which was charged with the exploitation of workers in Bangladesh and Pakistan, and is an internationally recognized human rights expert. The issue of corporate responsibility is a chief subject of her regular publications.
