Archive of Refuge – Opening

The Archive of Refuge creates a digital memory site that preserves and reflects histories of flight and displacement to Germany in the 20th and 21st centuries. In the lobby of HKW, the 42 filmed interviews can be seen in an installation on occasion of the launch of the online archive. Four Opening Days will kick off the large-scale oral history project. The opening speech will be held by writer and philosopher Senthuran Varatharajah.
