Argentinian artist Diego Ferrari holds a week-long workshop in Berlin as part of the Signs of the City project. Working with young people aged 18 to 25, he will focus on the architectonic signs of Berlin, and particularly the participating artists' interventions into the urban sign system in form of installations and happenings.

After a research phase on architectonic examples, the participants learn to set themselves in relation to this architecture. Reflecting their individual perspective on the city, the building and audience of their intervention, they will produce photographic images of their projects.

Diego Ferrari lives and works in London, where he studied art and architecture at Goldsmiths, University of London, and at the Canterbury School of Art and Design. He also teaches at academies in Barcelona and London.
