Aliza Yanes

Aliza Yanes is an artist, literary researcher, and educator. She studied literature at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima and completed a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and a Master’s degree in Art in Context at the Berlin University of the Arts. In 2023, she presented her first short film Limastraße at the Kino Babylon and held the seminar Revisited Avantgarden: Dialoge zwischen Lateinamerika und Europa as part of the general study programme at Berlin University of the Arts. Yanes lives and works in Berlin.
