Ana Alenso is an artist. She creates assemblages and installations that explore the entanglement of conflicts and paradoxes rooted in the petrocultures of the last centuries. Her work is shaped by field studies and multidisciplinary exchanges, with a focus on materiality and ecology through the use of post-industrial elements and experimental processes. Recent exhibitions include Island Innovator, Kunstverein Arnsberg, 2024; El Sur–Narratives of Extraction, Färgfabriken Konsthall, Stockholm, 2024; and Geneva Biennale: Sculpture Garden, Switzerland, 2022. Alenso lives and works in Berlin.
