Ange Dakouo (1990, Abidjan, Ivory Coast) graduated from the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers Multimédia de Bamako in 2017 and is one of the founders of the Tim'Art collective with whom he regularly exhibits. Dakouo is inspired by the universe and costumes of the traditional hunters of Mali, which have a refuge value of authenticity and protected knowledge. Recent exhibitions include: documenta fifteen, Kassel, 2022; Le Souffle des Ancêtres, Congo Biennale, Kinshasa, 2022; Partcours, Espace Trames, Dakar, 2020; Hier est la mémoire d’aujourd’hui, Espace Commines, AKAA (Also Known As Africa) Fair, Paris, 2019; Demain sera meilleur, Villa Soudan, Bamako, 2019; Les Tisseurs de Liens, BICIM Amie des Arts, 2è édition, Bamako, 2019; and Les Boîtes Rouges, Taxi Bamako, 2018. Dakouo lives and works in Bamako.
