Astan Meyer is an artistic performer, songwriter, singer, dancer, actress, model, and event curator. Her musical universe lies in the experimentation of various genres such as jazz, punkrock, Afro-Tech, trip-hop, slam, trap or drill. She is also the lead singer of the band Asphalt Djelis and one of the vocalists of the collective Sonic Interventions. She has also appeared as an actress in music videos, commercials, short films, and TV shows. She is the co-founder of Culture Supply, a cultural event focusing mainly on Afro-hybrid artistic content and ancestral knowledge. Astan lives and works in Berlin.
