Cami Layé Okún is a DJ selector and anthropologist with a specialization in ethnomusicology. Her research focuses on discovering and disseminating music released on vinyl between the 1960s and late 1980s, primarily from the Caribbean, Africa, and the Americas. She traverses sounds from different locales, using music as a medium to share stories and unite lost sounds of the diaspora. Cami Layé Okún also curates Insolar, a bi-monthly show on NTS Radio, where she continues to showcase her passion for music and cultural exchange.
