Diana Ejaita (1985, Cremona, Italy) is an artist and illustrator who studied at Université de Rennes 2 Arts Plastiques and HBK Braunschweig. She is the recipient of the Villa Romana Prize in 2023. Recent exhibitions include: 4+3=1, There Are Stories to Be Forged for Common Denominators to Come Forth and Social Balance To Be Restored, SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin, 2022; Long Distance Call, Kunstpalais, Erlangen, 2022; and Restitution de la résidence d’artiste au Village Opéra, Centre Kahiri, Ougadougou, 2021. Recent children’s book publications include: A Day in the Sun (2023); Let: A Poem about Wonder and Possibility (with Kei Miller, 2023); and Olu & Greta (2022). Ejaita lives in Milan, Berlin, and Lagos.
