Discover Football is a Berlin-based NGO that uses football as a tool to empower the FLINTA* community (German for women, lesbians, inter*, non-binary, trans*, agender) and girls. Discover Football organizes international events such as football festivals, conferences, mentoring programmes, and workshops in which FLINTA people are centred. By playing football, sharing knowledge, and building skills they gain autonomy, mobility, and power that help them fight the intersectional mechanisms of sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and racism on and off the pitch.
