Doreen Mende

Doreen Mende is a curator and theorist. She is currently director of the cross-collections research department of the Dresden State Collections of Art (SKD) where she initiated the Stannaki Forum on diasporic knowledge. She is also a co-founder of the Harun Farocki Institut in Berlin and associate professor of curatorial/politics at Haut école d’art et design, Geneva. Ongoing projects include Decolonizing Socialism: Entangled Internationalism with The Missed Seminar as curatorial iteration at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, 2022, and the exhibition series Sequences. Entangled Internationalisms, Albertinum of SKD, Dresden, 2023.
