Emiliano Chaimite

Emiliano Chaimite has been managing director of Afropa e.V. since 2016 and recently became project coordinator there. He was previously managing director of the Dachverband sächsischer Migrant*innenorganisationen e.V. and worked for many years as a nurse at Dresden Municipal Hospital. He was awarded the City of Dresden’s Medal of Honour in 2022 and named an Ambassador for Democracy and Tolerance by the Federal Agency for Civic Education in 2021. Chaimite lives and works in Dresden.
