Enoka Ayemba works as an independent film curator and festival consultant focussing on African and Afro-diasporic cinematography and anti-colonial movements. He is currently a member of the film selection committee for the pan-Aafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO). He studied economics and marketing in Douala and media consulting in Berlin. In 2023, he curated the film programme Grenzen in der Mitte. Migration und ihre Perspektiven im deutschen Film on behalf of Filmhaus Nürnberg together with Biene Pilavci. He has several years of experience as a consultant for the Berlinale Forum and most recently co-curated the additional Fictional Certificate programme. Ayemba lives and works mainly in Berlin.
