Furqat Palvan-Zade is an independent publisher, researcher, and film-maker. He is developing a series of projects investigating the transient geographies and overlapping cultures of Central Eurasia. Since 2014, he has worked on the syg.ma project, a community-driven publication and an expanding online archive of texts on society and art. He started a PhD program at Yale University’s Department of Slavic and Eurasian Literatures and Cultures in 2023. Palvan-Zade lives and works between New Haven and Tashkent.
