Guely Morató Loredo is a curator, sound artist, and researcher. In her work, she explores alternative methodologies for artistic research, collective creation as well as the relationship between politics, technology, and gender. She is the founder and director of Sonandes, which organized five editions of the only Biennial specialized in sound art in Latin America. In 2019, she directed the MediaLab of the Cultural Center of Spain in La Paz. Recent projects include: INFRA: variations for body, space and subwoofer system, 2018–2022 und The Witness_Openlab, Sonic Matter Festival, Zurich, 2021. Morató lives and works mostly in Bolivia.
