Hafsa Omer

Hafsa Omer is a social worker and the manager of the art gallery and the digital archival project at Hargeysa Cultural Centre (HCC). Additionally, she is a member of the leadership team for the Hargeysa International Book Fair, where this year she curated the artistic programming. Omer is deeply passionate about art, Somali music, and basketball, the latter as the coach of her country’s top girls’ basketball team. Omer lives and works in Hargeysa, Somaliland.
