Hani Mojtahedy is a Kurdish artist and singer from Sanandaj, a city in the Iranian province Kurdistan. She studied traditional Persian music and collaborated with rock musicians and traditional instrumentalists, including the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. Her music is a mix of traditional and original repertoire in which she brings together traditional Persian vocals and Kurdish lyrics. She has released two albums, more than twenty singles, and several music videos. Moreover, she has performed in TV shows, concerts and festivals all over the world, including Deutsche Oper Berlin. She is currently working on a new album. Mojtahedy lives and works in Berlin.

Hani Mojtahedy ist eine kurdische Künstlerin und Sängerin aus Sanandaj, einer Stadt in der iranischen Provinz Kurdistan. Sie studierte traditionelle persische Musik und arbeitete mit Rockmusiker*innen und traditionellen Instrumentalist*innen zusammen, unter anderem mit dem Czech National Symphony Orchestra. Ihre Musik ist eine Mischung aus traditionellem und eigenem Repertoire, in dem sie traditionellen persischen Gesang und kurdische Texte miteinander verbindet. Sie hat zwei Alben, mehr als zwanzig Singles und mehrere Musikvideos veröffentlicht. Darüber hinaus ist sie in Fernsehshows, Konzerten und auf Festivals in der ganzen Welt aufgetreten, unter anderem an der Deutschen Oper Berlin. Derzeit arbeitet sie an einem neuen Album. Mojtahedy lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
