Hayv Kahraman (1981, Baghdad, Iraq) is a Kurdish-Iraqi artist whose work primarily deals with the body politics of migrant consciousness. Recent exhibitions include: Women Defining Women in Contemporary Art of the Middle East and Beyond, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 2023; Hayv Kahraman: The Touch of Otherness, SCAD Museum of Art, Savannah, 2022; In The Heart of Another Country, Deichtorhallen Hamburg, 2022; and Reflections Contemporary Art of the Middle East and North Africa, the British Museum, London, 2021.
