Horst Weber

Horst Weber (1932–1999) was a German painter and graphic artist. He completed an apprenticeship as a decorative painter and lettering artist from 1947 to 1950. From 1952 to 1957, he studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts under Erich Fraaß, Max Erich Nicola, Hans Christoph, and Heinz Lohmar. From 1957 he worked as a freelance artist. From 1976 until the dissolution of the evening studies department in 1992, he was a lecturer at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, from 1986 in the evening school’s painting class.
