Jasmine Thomas-Girvan (1961, Kingston, Jamaica) is a multidisciplinary artist. She studied at Parsons School of Design, New York. Her exhibitions include: Window on Memory, Cohen Gallery, Brown University, 2023; Bathed in Sacred Fire, Kunstinstituut Melly, Rotterdam, 2021; Soñar con las manos desde el corazón del Caribe, Casa de las Américas, Havana, 2017. She was the recipient of the National Biennial, Jamaica’s Aaron Matalon Award in 2012 and 2017, and the Silver Musgrave Medal from the Institute of Jamaica in 2014, among others. Thomas-Girvan lives and works in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
