Jiun-Yang Li (1967, Taichung, Taiwan) is an artist. He grew up in a family of movie billboard painters and acquired this skill at a young age as well as those relating to temple art, puppet theatre design, and puppet carving. Exhibitions include: Palafang, Stone Sculpture Museum, Hualien, 2021; YAO-CHI CITY: Taiwanese Paranormal Literature and Contemporary Art Exhibition, Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab, Taipei, 2019; Taiwan Biennale: Wild Rhizome, Taipei, 2018; A Beast, A God, and A Line, Para Site, Hong Kong; Dhaka Art Summit, Dhaka; Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw; Kunsthall Trondheim, and MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum, Chiang Mai, 2017–20. Li lives and works in Taichung.
