K’boko

K’boko is a DJ, producer, percussionist, music therapist, and social worker. Specializing in afrodiasporic bass music, his beats seamlessly blend organic Afro-Brazilian roots with digital and electronic influences, drawing inspiration from afrodiasporic sounds from all over the globe. He has collaborated with artists such as Guy One, Alemayehu Eshete, Idris Ackamoor, and Polyversal Souls. His distinctive sonic palette encompasses Afro-Brazilian rhythms, 808s, subsonic basslines, heavy kicks, synths, samplers, and live instruments, contributing to the unique and diverse nature of his compositions. K’boko lives and works in Berlin.
