Kwashibu Area Band

Kwashibu Area Band was created by the musicians Kwame Yeboah and Ben Abarbanel-Wolff in order to preserve and innovate the sounds of Ghanaian Highlife music. They have recorded two albums with Pat Thomas and worked with Ebo Taylor, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Jembaa Groove, and many more. Yeboah is a multi-instrumentalist who was brought up in the Highlife scene and worked with major artists across the world. Abarbanel-Wolff is a saxofonist, producer and founder of Afrobeat Academy in Berlin.
