Lalitha Chamakalayil is a certified psychologist and research associate at the Institute for Child and Youth Welfare of the FHNW School of Social Work in Muttenz. Her research focuses on social inequality, families and inclusion and exclusion, biographical research and psychoanalysis. She also works on these topics in the context of continuing education. Her most recent publications include Eltern und pädagogische Institutionen: Macht- und ungleichheitskritische Perspektiven [Parents and educational institutions: Perspectives critical of power and inequality] (co-editor, 2022). Chamakalayil lives in Freiburg im Breisgau and Bremen.
