Lubi Barre

Lubi Barre is a writer of poetry and short stories. She is the founder of Sprachlos series and FRAMED, and a member of the Residency Writers Room. She was literary curator of Fluctoplasma Festival in Hamburg in 2020 and 2021 and she is the co-curator of the first Black Writers Book Festival of Hamburg in 2024. She has received numerous grants for writing and curation and in addition teaches creative writing at various universities. She is the author of the German language collection Here and There (2020) and her works have been published in several anthologies. Barre lives and works in Hamburg.
