Maria Teresa Vicente Giménez is Professor of Philosophy of Law and Director of the Chair in Human Rights and Nature at the University of Murcia in Spain. She has been invited to several editions of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change and Biodiversity (COP), and is currently participating in international events to advance the mandate of the first Assembly of the Earth in New York. She is the author of numerous books and articles on ecological justice such as Ecological Justice and Rights of Nature (2023), Ecological Justice in the Era of the Anthropocene (2016), and The Enforceability of Social Rights (2006). Vicente Giménez lives and works in Murcia.
