Marina Frenk

Marina Frenk is an artist, musician, and author. She studied acting at Folkwang University in Essen and worked at theatres in Cologne, Leipzig, Bochum, Frankfurt, and Berlin. She is also a member of several bands and creates her own theatre-performances like Eine Niere hat nichts mit Politik zu tun and Valeska Gert - The Animal Show, both at Maxim Gorki Theatre, Berlin in 2023 and 2018. She regularly works at Maxim Gorki Theatre and does many radio and audiobook works. She is the author of the novel Ewig her und gar nicht wahr (2020) and her radio work Jenseits der Kastanien won the European CIVIS Media Price in 2017. Frenk lives in Berlin.
