Michaela Vieser

Michaela Vieser is a writer and storyteller. Her work focuses on the engagement with the more-than-human world. She filters scientific research results, indigenous and local perspectives, historical events, her own findings and observations through her sensory body and shapes them into new linguistic and poetic images. Her work encourages to overcome apparent divisions and to understand ourselves again as part of this living world. She works with different forms of media, such as TV documentaries, radio features, or librettos and has written eleven books in creative nonfiction form. Vieser lives and works in Berlin.
