Michelle Schenandoah is an inspirational speaker, thought leader, media creator, and traditional member of the Onʌyota':aka (Oneida) Nation Wolf Clan of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Founder of the non-profit Rematriation, she is dedicated to uplifting Indigenous women’s voices. Schenandoah carries her ancestors’ passion to rematriate her people’s lands and shares about the Haudenosaunee’s global influence on modern democracy and women’s rights. She presented to Pope Francis prompting his apology regarding Indian Residential Schools. Recent productions include the talkshow and podcast Rematriated Voices. Schenandoah lives with her family in Haudenosaunee territories located in Upstate New York.
