Musquiqui Chihying is a visual artist and film-maker whose artistic endeavors focus on issues of post- and trans-modernity in the Global South, post-colonial identity, and contemporary technology. Many of his works have explored the special historical circumstances of ethnic and technological exchange between the African, Asian, and Afro-Asian sea regions. Recent exhibitions include Ghost In The Sea, Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB), Taipei, 2024; and The Oceans and the Interpreters, Centre for Contemporary Art & Yaba Art Museum, Lagos, 2023. Chihying resides and works in Taipei and Berlin.
