Nada Bakr

Nada Bakr is executive director of the Network of Arab Alternative Screens and an independent curator and cultural manager, whose work straddles the fields of visual arts, social justice, technology, digital art, and culture. Bakr holds a Master’s degree in Media Arts Cultures from Aalborg University, Denmark and served as managing director and curator at Cairotronica - Electronic and New Media Arts Festival and as a community programme curator at Disruption Network Lab, Berlin. Bakr lives and works in Berlin.
