Nathalie Vairac is an actress. She performs on national stages in France, at the Avignon International Festival, and in theaters in the Caribbean and Africa. For over twenty years she studies with important theater makers in Paris, including Philippe Adrien and Sotigui Kouyaté. Vairac interprets Greek tragedies and Shakespeare as well as French classics and contemporary works. In 2014, she received the Saana Award for best actress in Kenya. As a coach she shares her expertise with upcoming and established actors.

Nathalie Vairac worked as an actress for the last 30 years and has recently shifted towards performative gestures. She accentuated this shift in her artistic practice to embrace transdisciplinary performative installations through her exploration into her multiple heritages, activating concepts such as intimacy and the unfinished. After many years of psychoanalysis and training in therapeutic healing, she imbues her art with the intention of leaving a trace on the audience. She founded the Compagnie La Lune Nouvelle in Dakar. She has performed in landmark exhibitions including Mutikkappatata, RAW Material Company, Dakar, 2024. Vairac lives and works in Dakar, Senegal.
