nesindano namise (Khoes) is a performance poet and voice artist navigating language, memory, and restoration through ‘word and aural interpretations’. With experience in radio and as part of an evolving creative culture in Namibia, their current research and experimenting engage performative archiving, ‘objects’, and colonial history. Recent projects include: Listening to the World, HKW, Berlin 2023 and Confronting Colonial Pasts, Envisioning Creative Futures, National Museum Namibia, 2019. Namises was born and lives in |Ae||Gams, Namibia.
