Noís Radio dedicate themselves to producing live radio programmes that mix soundscapes with voices, music, live sounds, and performative actions. The collective was formed in 2009 in Cali, Columbia and is interested in exploring everyday soundscapes and creating radio experiences. A focus of their activities is the collective, collaborative work with local communities, in the form of a hybrid of social engagement, artistic practice, and communication. Noís Radio also works to create collective listening exercises through walks, guided tours, wandering radio tables, workshops, sound and communication labs.
