Pablo Gīw
Pablo Gīw is a musician, performer, and improvising artist. His works include experimental urban music, dark jazz, noise and ambient music, lyrics, and performances in theatre and dance as well as solo music for trumpet, his main instrument. He released his solo debut album Never is Always in 2017 and has collaborated with many different artists such as Kelvin Kilonzo, Maurits Boettger, Farida Amadou, Mariel Roberts, Abed Kobeissy, Ali Hout, and Joss Turnbull on numerous projects since. At Burgtheater Vienna and Schauspiel Köln, Gīw created and performed the music for the productions King Lear (2024) and Grapes of Wrath (2022). Gīw lives and works in Cologne.
