Paola Torres Núñez del Prado is an artist whose practice spans textile, digital and bio art, text, painting, and AI, while pioneering the development of soft sound controllers. Her work challenges dominant cultural narratives in both art and technology. As a doctoral researcher, she leads the Critical AI Working Group at Stockholm University of the Arts. Recent works include the exhibitions Sincretos, Baerum Kunsthall, Oslo, 2024; and Chronoplasticity, Raven Row, London, 2024; and the publication Andean Audiotactility: transcultural interfaces elucidating a divergent history of technology (2024). Torres Núñez del Prado lives and works in Stockholm.
