Patricia Gómez and María Jesús González are a team of artists whose work focuses on recovering the memory of abandoned places caught up in processes of disappearance, by recording the traces of time and human experience preserved on their walls. They studied Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Recent exhibitions include Arxiu Cabanyal. A la memòria del lloc, Fabra i Coats: Contemporary Art Center of Barcelona, 2024; Anozero’24-Bienal de Arte Contemporanea de Coimbra, Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova, Coimbra, 2024; and Itinerarios XXVIII, Centro Botín, Santander, 2023. Gómez lives and works in Valencia.
